Asia Album: Buffalo Race in Thailand’s Chonburi
CHONBURI, Thailand, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) — A batch of buffalo racers competed in east Thailand’s Chonburi in the century-old annual Buffalo Race to celebrate the start of the paddy-sowing season.
The exciting festival has drawn thousands of visitors to the region and was a boon to the local economy.
