အိန္ဒိယအာကာသသုတေသနအဖွဲ့အစည်း (ISRO) က ဂြိုဟ်ပတ်လမ်းကြောင်းအတွင်းသို့ INSAT-3DS မိုးလေဝသဂြိုဟ်တု သစ်တစ်စင်းအား ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၁၇ ရက်က လွှတ်တင်ခဲ့ကြောင်း တာဝန်ရှိသူများက ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံတောင်ပိုင်း Andhra Pradesh ပြည်နယ်ရှိ Sriharikota ကျွန်းမှ Geosynchronous လွှတ်တင်ရေးယာဉ်ဖြင့် မိုးလေဝသဂြိုဟ်တုအား ဒေသစံတော်ချိန် ညနေ ၅ နာရီ ၃၅ မိနစ်တွင် လွှတ်တင်ခဲ့ခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။အဆိုပါဂြိုဟ်တုက ပိုမိုကောင်းမွန်သော မိုးလေဝသဆိုင်ရာ လေ့လာစောင့်ကြည့်မှုများ ၊ မိုးလေဝသခန့်မှန်းချက်များနှင့် သဘာဝဘေးအန္တရာယ် သတိပေးချက်များအတွက် ကုန်းမြေနှင့်သမုဒ္ဒရာ မျက်နှာပြင်များအား စောင့်ကြည့်ခြင်းများအတွက် စီမံဆောင်ရွက်ထားကြောင်း သိရသည်။ (Xinhua)

India launches weather satellite INSAT-3DS
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Saturday launched new weather satellite INSAT-3DS into orbit, officials said.
The meteorological satellite, aboard a Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F14) rocket, took off from Sriharikota in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh at 5:35 p.m. local time.
According to ISRO, the satellite is designed for enhanced meteorological observations, and monitoring of land and ocean surfaces for weather forecasting and disaster warning.
